Description

Garment Conveyor Honeycomb listens best in an automated state. The period right before the realization, acknowledgment then acceptance into the confines of the present moment or the conscious mind. Before the external environments that the world imposes on the self set in. This realization happens in a millisecond but the preceding freedom of the automatic seemed infinite. You take a walk on a freeway but the entire time you thought about oozing honeycombs swaying and rotating from garment conveyor belts at a dry cleaners. You check the clock and 45 minutes have been spent perusing reddit. Simultaneous orgasms with a friend or colleague. These instances of time-spatial-environmental illusions defy the present moment and instead rely on participation of mind/body unification. Not escape. Not suppression, expression or repression; the automatic is a state of cognitive recognition that is immersive and true. All logic, neurosis, criticism and emotion: gone. Maybe this is actual paradise - a world without construction paper. A brain cut free from the conscious/subconscious that freely pumps and circulates

Yourself In Peace is an ambient/noise-pop/electronic production project from Los Angeles. They performed at the Coachella Arts Festival last year and are affiliated with the Beat Cinema Collective, rooted in the Los Angeles beat scene.
