Dyelo think’s new album “Sasakia charonda” named after the scientific name of the Japanese national butterfly “Oomurasaki”, is the most challenging and epoch piece in his whole career.
“Emergence” has its fat, straight beat that makes us predict the album’s mood and direction, but we’ll be surprised while we keep listening to the middle of the album.
“white noise” with signature sound features characteristic slapped bass, and in “flying fish in the dark”, some granular percussive sound filling up the space, and doubled tempo kicks give it drill'n'bass or IDM type of vibe.
“Hanauta” has some Vaporwave or even Dream pop kind of feeling.
As shown in the track title “Abnormal species”, this album makes us expect the “mutation” of Dyelo think.
This shows the strong influences by Table Beats Kyoto, and also various musical colors such as IDM brought by the shop LOSER Namba, Osaka.
Dyelo think’s new piece is a must listen not only for beats / Hiphop fans, but for all kinds of music fans.

国蝶であるオオムラサキの学名"Sasakia charonda"がタイトルとなっている本作は、彼のキャリアの中でも飛び抜けて意欲作だ。
出現・孵化を意味する一曲目「Emergence」の骨太かつストレートなビートはこの作品の全容を予想させるが、アルバムを聞き進めていくと中盤からの展開に驚かされる。スラップベースのサウンドがアクセントとなる、彼のシグネチャーサウンドである「white noise」、粒感を感じる空間を持ったトラックでありつつも、倍速キックが入ることによりドリルンベースやIDMのような様相を呈する「flying fish in the dark」、VaporwaveやDream popのような色も垣間見える「Hanauta」など、「Abnormal species」という曲名が示すとおり、このアルバムはDyelo thinkの"変異"を感じさせる仕上がりだ。
京都のTable Beatsの活動はもちろん、大阪難波のLOSERが持つIDM等のカラーの影響をも強く思わせる本作は、BeatsやHiphopファンのみならず、あらゆる音楽ファンに一聴していただきたい。
